Ken Russell，典型受人争议的导演，他导出来的片子也自然是毁誉参半。Salome's Last Dance运用了剧中剧的形式不可谓不妙。明明是十九世纪发生的故事，剧中人在评论中却迸出二十世纪七八十年代人物和事件的火花。王尔德本人和波西鲜明的性格也在不多的台词中体现的淋漓尽致，这种Cult片真对胃口。
